I discovered I really enjoy book signings. It was a fun day, and Cholie, of Cholie’s Town N Country, really knows how to throw a bash! One price included a signed copy of Trust Me and a scrumptious lunch. There were some girls from my former high school—I won’t say how many decades ago that was, friends from my home two hours away, strangers, and the love of family to help me celebrate the publication of my novel.
As a free bonus, a copy of my short story, Sweet Success, appeared in the back of the book. I think everyone likes to receive a free surprise.
An author-friend of mine, Tami Brothers, who had a book signing the weekend before in Warner Robins, was there to help me celebrate. It’s fun to help each other.
I’m hoping to do this again soon. My next book, The Olive Oil King and The Principessa, set in, you guessed it, Italy, should be out around the first of the year with another to follow in two or three months.
